AGEM 5521-23 – Electromagnet
The AGEM 5521-23 electromagnet is used to generate strong magnetic fields for experimental applications in the frequency range up to approximately 1 MHz.
The electromagnet is based on a split toroidal ferromagnetic core with 2 air gaps. A 7 mm wide air gap on the front side of the core serves as test area. The rear 7 mm gap houses a monitor coil for checking the flux density in the core and, consequently, in the test specimen area.
