EAB8 50-150 – 50 Ω to 150 Ω Adapter
The EAB8 50-150 allows immunity measurements up to 80 MHz (according to CISPR 35 or EN 55035) in conjunction with CAT3 8158, CAT5 8158 or NTFM 8158. The method for immunity measurement is described in IEC 61000-4-6. The EAB8 50-150 is connected as a module to the NTFM 8158.
In this adapter, the 8 wires of the RJ-45 plug are connected to each other.
A 100 Ω resistor is wired between the inner conductor of the BNC socket and the common mode point. This enforces matching between the 50 Ω system and the 150 Ω common-mode impedance of the ISN.
