High power resistor with low inductance, which can be used in systems where magnetic fields have to be gener-ated. When connected in series between an amplifier and a Helmholtz coil, the current can be measured indirectly. The voltage drop is proportional to the current through the coil. It can be used for testing according to MIL STD 461 (CS101) and ISO 11452 10.
